HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Two bikers are dead and at least two others are injured after two shootings along I-45 in Montgomery County and Walker County on Friday.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, around 11:08 a.m., a biker called 911 and reported that he had been shot.

It’s unclear where the shooting actually occurred, but he was taken to the hospital from the scene near I-45 and Oakwood Drive. He is expected to survive his injuries.

The sheriff’s office was also investigating a report that another man may have been shot with non-life threatening injuries.
About 40 miles to the north, in Huntsville, police are investigating another shooting that left two bikers dead and another injured.

According to Huntsville PD, the shooting occurred around 12:30 p.m. on I-45 near mile marker 114.

Police say those injured in the shooting are also believed to be affiliated with a motorcycle gang.
Investigators have not confirmed if the shootings are related as the investigations continue.
No suspect information has been released in either incident.
