HOUSTON – The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that wounded a child.
Authorities say the report came in as a road rage-related shooting. The sheriff’s office says the investigation has now led them to a home.

Around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, the sheriff’s office says deputies responded to Texas Children’s Hospital for a report of a child who was shot during a road rage incident.
The child had one gunshot wound to the arm. The child was last reported to be in stable condition.
The sheriff’s office says, after further investigation, the incident has led them to a residence in the 25000 block of Tancy Ranch Ct., south of Katy.
Authorities did not provide any other information on what led up to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
