HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after a woman was found shot to death Tuesday morning.
According to the Houston Police Department, the woman was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 800 block of Yorkchester Drive just before 8 a.m.

Police say the suspect fled the scene.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene for the investigation.
